What a Finished Book Looks Like
Every Good Medicine Stories book is designed, printed, and bound to be kept. These pages show the kind of care that goes into each one.
Built to last on a shelf
A family book is not a scrapbook or a photo album. It is a designed, edited, printed volume — the kind of thing you hand to your grandchildren and they hand to theirs. The pages below give you a sense of what that looks like in practice.
Typeset narrative prose
The story is written and laid out like a book — chapter headings, running text, pull quotes, and section breaks. Not a timeline. Not bullet points.
Integrated photographs
Family photos are woven into the narrative where they belong — not collected at the back. Captions are written to add context, not just label faces.
Professional design
Every spread is designed for readability and visual coherence. Margins, type size, leading, and image placement are all considered.
Hardcover binding
The standard edition is a hardcover with a printed case. It opens flat, holds up to repeated reading, and looks at home on any bookshelf.
Sample spreads
These are placeholder images. Real sample pages from completed books will be added here — with family permission — as founding projects are delivered.
What founding families say
Testimonials from the first four families will appear here once their books are delivered. If you are one of those families and your book is complete, reach out to share your words.
